Who

The Mustard Seed is a fellowship of Christian people committed to showing forth the love of God and sharing the Good News of the Kingdom to the people of Callington

 

Through our worship and Bible study we are drawn closer to God and to each other. As the Holy Spirit enables we live out our lives as witnesses to His truth and grace. Through our various activities, in our family and social events, and in our daily lives, we humbly endeavour to share God's grace in practical ways in our community.

Our Beliefs

We believe that:

  • There is one GOD, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • GOD has created us in love to be like Him
  • JESUS, the crucified, risen and ascended Son of God, is Saviour and Lord, but also our example
  • The HOLY SPIRIT indwells us and empowers us to live a godly life for service
  • The BIBLE is the inspired and authoritative Word of God through which He speaks
  • GOD loves us and accepts us as we are and forgives us when we come to Him in repentance
  • JESUS is Lord of the Universe
  • WE look forward eagerly to the return of Jesus as KING
  • WE share in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ
