Children
Joanna heads up the children's programme. It has two main parts:
- The Sunday School which the children attend during the second half of the Sunday morning service. There are five classes to cover from ages 3 to 16. We are currently using Scripture Union Light materials for all age groups.
- Splash which attracts around 20 children every Friday afternoon
She talks enthusiastically about the tiring — but rewarding — work, which she does in addition to being the mother of two small children herself:
It is very exciting to see so many young children attending the after-school club. Our desire for the future is for them to join our Sunday School classes.
Youth Work
Graham and Malcolm jointly head up Rock Solid which meets monthly on Friday nights. It is a very challenging group so they are constantly looking at creative ways of engaging them...
